I've received multiple attempts from hackers recently to compromise my system to gain access to and take over my online properties. This includes my email account, youtube account, facebook, twitter, whatever. So I thought I'd make a video about some things you can do to help protect yourself from these criminals. Always be sure to check the email address of anyone claiming to be from any organization who wants to work with you. Always make sure that your computer is set to SHOW file extensions so you aren't fooled into thinking a .exe file is a .pdf. Whenever possible use a VPN when interacting online. If you're on Windows, enable Windows Sandbox (demonstrated in the video) so you can more safely open files with less of a risk of your system being compromised. This is not an exhaustive list of things to do, but it's a start.
