- UK’s FTSE 100 fell -79.64 points or -0.92% at 8600.23.
- Spain’s Ibex fell -174.42 points or -1.32% at 13082.69
- Italy’s FTSE MIB fell -366.99 points or -0.95% at 38225.81
As London/European traders look toward the exits, US indices are continuing their slide:
- Dow -527 or -1.23% at 42279
- S&P -130.30 or -2.26% at 5640.55
- NASDAQ index -660 points or -3.63% at 17539
The largest daily decline in 2024 was 3.64%. At session lows, the price was down more than that amount. You would have to go back to October 2022 when the market fell -3.8% in a single day to have a worse trading day
